The Last Supper that Jesus shared with His disciples is the setting for this session. Jesus modeled the heart of a servant as He washed His disciples’ feet, something other leaders in Jesus’ time might have rarely or never done. In response, we are challenged to develop the heart of a servant, serving even while facing betrayal and suffering.
