In this session, we’ll look at the story of Jesus and His disciples who approached a man who had been born blind. The disciples asked Jesus if the man’s blindness came from his own past sins or the sins of his parents. This opens up the conversation for us today. Simply because we may stumble into difficult situations, they are not always a result of sins we have committed. We live in a broken world in which even followers of Jesus are not immune to hard times. The challenge for all of us is to accept that we will encounter difficult situations no matter what. As we put our faith in God, we can see how even through challenging situations His power can be revealed to those around us.
