God is in Control
Throughout the Old Testament, we see God establish His position in relation to His people. He is our Creator and Lord; therefore, we should desire for Him to be in control of our life. In our Bible story, we see God compared to a potter who molds clay. The potter works with the clay and molds it into what he desires it to be. In the same way, God has a plan and purpose for our life, too. He desires to mold us and help us grow into the people He has planned for us to be.
