When we think of giving, we often assess the value by only looking at the size of the gift. Jesus surprised people by praising a widow’s simple gift at the temple. Jesus not-ed that her small gift was generous because it was likely all she had. Giving generous-ly isn’t limited to only those who can give the most valuable gift. It’s about giving from the heart even when it’s not easy to do so.
