Today, we are learning that God loves everyone, even people who we might not necessarily like. God sent Jonah to the Assyrian capital city of Nineveh to warn them they needed to change their ways or be destroyed. Jonah didn’t want to go because he didn’t like the people of Nineveh. They were a very powerful and scary nation. God wants us to share His love with everyone, even people we don’t like. We do this because God wants us to love everyone just like He does.
