In this session, preschoolers will discover that Jesus is my Savior. This Bible lesson is one of the foundation stones of our Christian faith. Jesus died for us in our place. A few times in this Scripture passage it said for Jesus to “save Himself.” The Roman soldiers said it, and the sec-ond criminal said it. However, Jesus wasn’t there to be His own Savior; He was on the Cross to be our Savior. What He did that day defies human logic and tendency for self preservation. Jesus loves us so much that He willingly gave His life in our place, but we know the story doesn’t end there.
