The account of David and Goliath is one of the most recognizable stories in all of Scripture. This is only one of several messages from the life of David that can teach us about God and provide application for our lives. For our purposes in this session, we will look at the idea that God prepares His people. Just as He prepared David to fight Goliath and eventually to be king, He prepares us to belong to His Kingdom and fulfill His mission.
