In this session, we’ll encounter the story of an unwelcome guest who interrupted a dinner to pour a bottle of perfume on Jesus’ feet. This woman’s past sin and reputation caused quite a stir among the other guests and with the host. After all, they thought that if Jesus was who He said He was, He should have known what type of woman she was and turned her away. Instead, Jesus used this interruption to give us a clear picture of how He addresses past sin and the shame that can prevent people from approaching Him. We’ll see a woman who came humbly to Jesus to express her love and devotion to Him.
