In this session, we’ll see how Jesus responded when He approached a funeral procession. A widow had just lost her only son. Jesus’ heart went out to the woman for her loss. In response, Jesus raised the son back to life. The crowd following the procession was filled with awe at what happened. This encounter reminds us that when we’re filled with compassion for others, we need to take action, too.
