In this session, we see a Roman officer who pleaded with Jesus to heal his servant who was paralyzed and in a tremendous amount of pain. Even though Jesus immediately said He would go and heal the servant, the Roman officer stopped Him. He impressed Jesus with his faith after explaining his understanding of authority. Jesus agreed to heal the servant, but not before turning to His followers to highlight the Roman officer’s faith for the impossible. Perhaps you or someone in your group are asking God to provide the impossible. One key to that becoming reality is to trust and believe in the authority and power of Jesus. Through His power, we can see the impossible become possible in our life.
