In this session, we encounter two sisters who called for Jesus when their brother got sick, but Jesus didn’t show up until it appeared to be too late. Little did everyone involved realize, but God’s timing had a purpose far beyond their problem. We all face problems and want God to work in our life immediately. It’s easy to believe that any delay in His answer means He is not hearing our prayers or isn’t going to answer them. But the real message of this story is that God’s timing is often different from ours for a reason. Waiting doesn’t feel good, and it can even seem as if time is being wasted. But there is great value in waiting on God until He answers.
