Today, kids will hear about the crucifixion of Jesus. It was a somber experience, and should not be taken too lightly. Tell the kids that this is only part of the story and next time things get better. Treat it like a two-part experience because it really is just that. Allow the kids to deal with the seriousness of this experience. Some kids may open up to share their own hurts. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide as you share the salvation experience with the kids.
